Description
To
splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic systems, both aerial and underground.
This position reports directly to the manager and director.

COAX
SPLICER

Full-Time
Position
Description
Splice
trunk and feeder coax cable. Splicers
are needed for both retro and new build projects currently underway.

as work locations will change as jobs start and finish.

UNDERGROUND
OPERATOR/ FOREPERSON
Seasonal
Position/ Possibility of year round employment
Description
As
a working foreperson you will operate equipment, train and manage underground
crews and be responsible to ensure all safety rules are adhered to.
You will ensure that all local, Dig-Safe and OSHA laws are discussed with
your crews and ongoing safety guidelines are followed.
Location
This
work is located in Southern New Hampshire and throughout
Massachusetts
. In the colder months in the
Northeast when underground work is not possible we will ask that you travel to
Southern job sites such as PA, FL, MD or the possibility of layoff.
Salary
Salary
is based upon experience, knowledge, and other key factors regarding prior
employment and background checks. $15-20hr.
Requirements
Must

to oversee and direct daily responsibilities of others.

individual will deliver equipment to various job sites as
well as be required to work as a construction laborer and or
equipment operator on our underground construction crews.

UNDERGROUND
CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR
- Full-Time Position
Description
The
underground construction supervisor will oversee in-house and subcontractors on
our FTTP projects as well as special projects throughout
New England
. This position will be based in
Massachusetts
, primarily the
Worcester
,
MA
area. You will be the primary
contact for our customer and will coordinate daily work for our in-house crews
as well as subcontractors. You will
report directly to the project manager and indirectly to the VP of Operations.
You will have extensive contact with local municipalities, public
utilities, telephone, state and local authorities.
Will assist and train underground crews as needed.
Location
Work
is located throughout New England, however, this position will report to our
Worcester
,
MA
location.
Salary
Commensurate
with experience, company vehicle for business use.
Requirements
Must

SWEEP
AND BALANCE TECHNICIAN – Full
Time Position
Description
Our
technicians sweep and activate the forward and return paths
of the cable plant we are working on.
You may be required to work nights, must not be
afraid of heights and will be required to document daily
production. This
position requires an individual with good organizational
skills and good communicate skills.
Must be able to communicate with our lead field tech
and think your way through problems with the CATV plant in
the field.
Location
Our
sweep techs will work throughout
New England
on various job sites. It
may also consist of travel throughout the
United States
when warranted.
Salary
This
is an hourly position, commensurate with your experience.
Some production based work may also be offered at
times, depending on the project.
Requirements
Must
have a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment
physical and drug screen.
Prior experience in cable television construction is
preferred. Must
be able to work nights and weekends if needed.
You will be required to travel staying overnights at
various locations, lodging and per diem provided.
Some tools will be required, specialty tools will be
provided.

CATV
Training Manager- Full Time Position
Description
To
train and instruct all in-house CATV personnel as needed.
To enhance our training program to encompass cross training of aerial
linepersons, sweep and balance techs, coax splicers and fiber splicers.
To establish a cross training program for all aspects of CATV outside
construction. This instruction will
involve both class room and hands-on demonstration as it pertains to CATV
outside plant.

Requirements
Must

screen. Training experience both in
the field as well as classroom presentation and instruction.
Must be able to demonstrate and instruct the safe and proper aspects of
all CATV cable construction and physically perform the job duties of a
construction lineperson. The ability
to demonstrate proper pole climbing techniques is essential.
