White Mountain Cable Construction, LLC ("WMC") is a full-service telecommunications construction provider specializing in complete outside plant construction services. The breadth of our expertise is exhibited through our long-standing relationships with some of the nation's largest telecommunications, cable, and utility service providers.

WMC performs aerial and underground construction services including make-ready, strand, coaxial, copper, and optical fiber cable construction, directional boring and hard surface excavation. The company also provides optical fiber cable system design, splicing, and emergency restoration services.

WMC was founded in 1971 and provides services throughout the Northeast & Mid-Atlantic United States from its main field office in Epsom, New Hampshire. Many of the country’s most notable brands trust WMC to enhance their operations. We deliver projects on time and within budget while adhering to the tight quality specifications of our customers.

Construction

Across the Northeast, we complete construction projects utilizing our experience and talented workforce augmented by our technology tools. We specialize in turnkey OSP construction and installation. Our highly trained and professional workforce has successfully executed many large projects across the Northeastern & Mid-Atlantic United States. We complete aerial and underground telecommunications projects, in good weather and bad, from the smallest town to the largest cities.

Aerial

Our services include aerial installations for both coaxial and fiber optic systems. We can manage all coordination with local authorities, making the ultimate construction project as seamless as possible. Our aerial construction services include:

Pole make-ready
New strand placement
Lashing/over-lashing
Pole placement and removal
Power supply installation

Underground

We provide the following services of underground placement for both coaxial and fiber optic systems:

Vault, manhole or pedestal placement
Conduit placement and conduit proofing
Directional boring
Pneumatic bore (missile bore or Hole Hog)
Trenching and micro trenching
Fiber/coaxial placement

Cable/Fiber Splicing

We provide our customers with the highest quality copper and fiber splicing and testing services available on the market. Each of our certified splicing technicians has received extensive training in both the industry’s standards and in our customers’ individual specifications. A commitment to excellence and attention to detail results in a quality product that consistently exceeds our customers' expectations.

Project Management

Complex projects require vision and oversight from the start. We manage all types of projects from fiber to 5G, perform locates prior to excavation, obtain permits before work begins, and construct and maintain high quality and dependable networks.
Before breaking ground, we take a thorough assessment of the project scope, cost and risk, making sure we have the appropriate professionals, materials and access in place to deliver on our promise to our clients. We have the latest tools to track everything we work on, allowing our clients to hold us accountable and keep up with project goals.
